GOLD WITH HONOURS!!!
it all seems so surreal.
like it hasn't really happened,
like this is a dream i've yet to wake up from.
i won't say it was our best; it definitely wasnt MY best.
and i kind of regret that.
for one, i was too tensed to enjoy singing.
and the actions for como pong;
i forgot to put down my hand on time.
bleargh.
the wait was excruciating.
not so much because i wanted to know what we got
than because i wanted to go home and study for tests.
plus, like i said earlier, it all seems so surreal.
after SYF i was like.
'its over alr??'
we've been training
practising
so hard, just for that ten minutes.
and its SO WORTH IT.
waited for almost one and a half hours for the results at VCH.
i didnt realise i was that... ______ until the judges (finally) came out and sat down.
14 choirs.
1 GWH.
i feel so proud of NYC.
WE DID IT!!!
it was so URGGH.
we were sitting in the front row, right under the judges' eyes.
"Choir #126, Nanyang Girls' High Choir. Gold..."
i thought my heart stopped. not a gold!!..
"with honours!!!"
i think we a bit chi dun. started clapping when the gold was announced but when the honours... we SHRIEKED.
exhilarating.
i feel so overwhelmed now.
